Take strokes off your game with our Putting Green and Sand Trap!
Our putting green provides a realistic putting and chipping surface that will help you improve your "touch" and lower your scores. The practice green displays undulations (break) for a more realistic putting scenario. Range balls are provided for the putting green.
For the short game, North Iowa Golf is equipped with a sand trap. The sand trap hits into a net. Balls are provided.
If you currently just carry a Pitching Wedge and Sand Wedge you might consider a Gap Wedge.
Players that have difficulty hitting a 3/4 swing Pitching Wedge or are inconsistent powering a Sand Wedge the distance they need, might benefit from a a gap wedge. 4-5° between your wedges is recommended to maximize distance and control.
Adding a gap/approach wedge (50-52°) to help you fill in the space between clubs so you can hit a full shot will help you hit the green in fewer strokes.
